Djibril N’diaye Rose

A percussionist from Senegal, is a representative character of African tradition and step son of Doudou N’diaye Rose, the greatest African percussionist. In the age of eighteen, Djibril decided to become a percussionist as his grand father, and he arrived in Italy where he became to work by taking classes and lessons from time to time. Sometimes in the music schools where he undertook some Work Shop, sometimes by meetings and stages in primary schools, or he shares in several Italian Festivals. In 1996, Djibril return to Senegal to undertake a research, meeting the greatest characters of African culture nowadays like: Morello’s. In August 1997, he organizes his first International stage with fifteen (15) italian people where escaped the idea to create a Cultural Conplex. He created it and named it : Complex Culturel Doudou N’diaye Rose C.C.D.N.R. Lately he became to collaborate with Paolo Cerlati, the head master of Music Atelier in Biella (Italy). Together they wrote about African transcribed music and African culture.
